‘The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’ Grows Popularity Among Film Frantics

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard has earned the top spot on Box Office charts.

The film debuted with $11.6 million from 3,331 U.S. venues over the weekend, which climbed the movie to the number one spot by a difference of $2.2 million.

Starring Salma Hayek, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L.Jackson, the Lionsgate sequel to The Hitman’s Bodyguard has taken over A Quiet Place 2’s spot on the charts.

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard was released on June 10 and its popularity only continues to grow. However, while the film had brought in $17 million to date, it cost almost $70 million to film and has failed to make any profit so far.

Lionsgate will face a tough competition in meeting the release of Universal’s F9 (Fast & The Furious) this weekend. F9 is an action movie which appeals to the same target audience.
