The show was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the month long festival that ends on January 26 and features music, theatre, art and more.
The psych-pop band lived up to their genre with their performance including confetti cannons, animal back-up dancers and frontman Coyne’s signature space-bubble crowd-surfing.
As part of the Summer Sounds portion of the festival, the gig also included an opening performance by electro-pop band FM Belfast, who originate from Reykjavík, Iceland.
