Shannon Noll was arrested over the weekend in Adelaide! The Australian Idol singer was removed by security guards from the Crazy Horse strip club on Hindley Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A witness said that Noll allegedly told security: “I’m Shannon Noll, let me back in.”
He was later charged with two counts of assault.
Noll’s promoter, Duane McDonald told the Daily Telegraph that the incident was out of character.
“He’s not the type of person who would say ‘Don’t you know who I am?’” Mr McDonald said.
The 41-year-old apparently plans to honour his touring commitments following the controversy, and he’ll have to face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 24.
