Robert De Niro Injures Leg On Film Location

Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro has injured his leg while on location of his new movie.

The legendary actor was on location in Oklahoma but not on the set of the movie, Killers Of The Flower Moon, when the injury occurred.

Management for the 77-year-old confirmed that the star flew back home to New York on Thursday evening and would see a doctor on Friday.

It is thought that the flight may have been planned before he suffered the injury.

The upcoming film by Martin Scorsese also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone.

Production sources said the cast and crew were taking a break from filming as a result of De Niro’s injuries.

It is not yet known what the extent of the injury is or if it will cause any delays to the film, which is due to be released next year on Apply TV+.

The movie is based on a book of the same name which investigates the murders of native Osage people in the 1920s after oil was discovered in Oklahoma.

De Niro plays rancher William Hale.
