Legendary interviewer Sir Michael Parkinson is set to tour Australia for one last time to celebrate his 40th year anniversary.
Parkinson has interviewed more than 2000 stars over 40 years in showbiz and he is bringing his show An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson to Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in October.
His son Mike will interview him during the stage show, which will also feature highlight clips from his most memorable TV moments.
“It’s a 2-hour entertaining and at times emotional romp through my life and career with the aid of some wonderful clips,” Parkinson said in a statement.
“It’s unashamed dip into a warm bath of nostalgia whilst making the point that my life has been an unlikely and remarkably lucky journey from a pit village to the top of those famous stairs.”
