Lady Gaga Debuts New Single “Perfect Illusion”

Lady Gaga

Lady GagaLady Gaga has finally debuted her comeback single three years after the release of her last album.

The track, co-produced by Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, is more pop-rock as opposed to the electro-pop sound she had previously adopted.

The song, titled Perfect Illusion, debuted on radio stations worldwide on September 9, with Gaga tweeting that the track would be available for download immediately.

In the three years that Gaga has been absent from the music world, she released an album of duets with Tony Bennett, had an award-winning stint on American Horror Story: Hotel and released Til It Happens to You which was nominated for an Oscar.

Seeing as Gaga’s last top 10 hit was The Edge of Glory back in 2011, she is facing serious competition with Sia’s tribute to the Orlando mass shooting with The Greatest.

Gaga has also signed on to lead Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star is Born.
