In his return to late-night television with an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, Kendrick Lamar debuted a surprise new song.
Similar to his last appearance on The Colbert Report in 2014, Lamar performed a song called “Untitled 2” and gave an intense show.
Just as crazy as his previous performance, Lamar lost it under the dim lights and wowed audiences with his intensity, calling himself “Cornrow Kenny” several times throughout the track.
Having never released the previous “Untitled” song, it is unclear whether he will release this latest track or if it will be a Jimmy Fallon exclusive.
In his interview with Fallon, when asked about his 11 Grammy nominations, Lamar said that he was glad he did not surpass Michael Jackson’s record of 12 nominations in a year.
The talk show host also spoke about Lamar’s album “To Pimp a Butterfly”, how the performer blows off steam and plenty more.
