Keanu Reeves Jumped Off Building 19 Times For New Matrix Film

Keanu Reeves in The Matrix Resurrections

In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, Keanu Reeves revealed that he and Carrie-Anne Moss jumped off a building about 19 times for their new film, The Matrix Resurrections.

Talk about commitment to the role!

The pair are reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity in the franchise’s new instalment.

The building that they jumped off of was more than 40-stories high, and when asked why they didn’t do the scene digitally, Reeves said, “Because it’s [director] Lana Wachowski, its ‘The Matrix’ and you need natural light and you want to do it real…”I mean, there’s wires.”

“After the first time, you can’t think of.. the fear,” he said.

“You have to, not block it, but deal with it, absorb it and just be there and do. And that’s what we did.”

Has he conformed into his character Neo now?!

The Matrix Resurrections hits theatres in Australia on Boxing Day (December 26).
