Joe Jonas has recently stuck up for his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift and her BFF Selena Gomez. Joe defended the ladies against the singer Lorde who has been attacking them in interviews.
Here’s what Lorde said about Selena’s song “Come & Get It,”
“I love pop music on a sonic level. But I’m a feminist and the theme of her song [Come & Get It] is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me.’ I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”
Lorde also added about Taylor:
“Taylor Swift is so flawless, and so unattainable, and I don’t think it’s breeding anything good in young girls. ‘I’m never going to be like Taylor Swift, why can’t I be as pretty as Lorde?’ That’s f***ing bull****.”
And here’s how Joe responded:
“Hey @lordemusic you say call me Queen B but you shouldn’t be attacking all the true Queen Bi***es’s #respect”
