A bright spark in a less-than-stellar year has come for actress Felicity Jones, who has given birth to her first child.
The Theory of Everything Star revealed her pregnancy in December, displaying her baby bump at the New York premiere of her newest film, The Aeronauts. She showed off the growing bump in a black velvet dress.
In pictures obtained from the Daily Mail, Jones was seen on Friday pushing a navy blue pram in London, a sign that her bundle of joy had arrived.
The child is the first for Jones and her husband Charles Guard, who she married in 2018.
Representatives for Jones are yet to comment on the birth.
While a rep for the British star did confirm the pregnancy news to the Hollywood Reporter after the red carpet reveal, the notoriously private couple made no public comment themselves.
In a rare chat with Porter magazine in November, Jones spoke about how her marriage to Guard has provided her with stability she doesn’t have in her working life.
“It’s a joy,” she told the publication.
“It’s wonderful to have such stability in a very changeable profession.”
When Jones was asked to describe a perfect day with her husband, she smiled and said: “Oh, we were just saying this morning, if we didn’t have anything to do today – a long walk across Hampstead Heath… a proper walk, in wellington boots… a pub lunch and a movie. I so want to see Ad Astra!”
