Coldplay Teasing An Australian Leg Of 2022 World Tour

Coldplay Teases Australian Leg of World Tour

The last time Coldplay came to Australia was for their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour in December of 2016. Last week saw their Music Of The Spheres World Tour kick off in San Jose, Costa Rica for leg one of their world tour, which will see 11 shows in North America between March and April.

Leg two of the tour includes 12 North American dates, leg three is 23 shows in Europe and leg four will see a return to Latin America for a further nine shows.

Australian fans were sent into a frenzy last week following a tweet which potentially teased an Australian leg of the band’s 2022 world tour.

A mysterious Twitter account followed by Coldplay dubbed @alienradiofm shared a link to a Spotify recording of the band’s song Magic, recorded live at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre back in 2014.

The tour has not been confirmed, however, promoters Live Nation have set up a new waiting list for fans who want to be the first to find out if the band will be touring anytime soon.

However, it does seem like an Australian leg of the band’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour will be coming to Australia sometime in 2022.

Coldplay released their ninth studio album, Music Of The Spheres, last year in October, which featured the likes of BTS and Selena Gomez.
