Arctic Monkeys Announce 2019 Australian and New Zealand Tour

Arctic Monkeys are coming back to Australia and New Zealand for an arena tour supporting their sixth studio album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, which was released back in April.

The band will kick off their tour in Perth and then head to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland in February and March 2019. Their opening act will be American band Mini Mansions.

Front man Alex Turner, spoke to triple j on Thursday, saying that the set list will include “something off every album and maybe half the new record.”

The last time the band toured Australia was back in 2014 with their pervious album AM.

Tickets go on sale November 7, 2018 from 2pm.

Saturday February 23, 2019 – RAC Arena, Perth
Tuesday February 26, 2019 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Friday March 1, 2019 – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
Sunday March 3, 2019 – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Wednesday March 6, 2019 – Spark Arena, Auckland
