Adele Is Back With New Music

Adele

English singer-songwriter, Adele released her debut studio album, 19, in 2008 and found commercial and critical success domestically in the UK. However, it was her second studio album, 21, that propelled her into the eyes and ears of the global community, selling over 31 million copies of the critically acclaimed sophomore effort.

Fast forward to 2017 and the songstress has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and 15 Grammy Awards to date.

With her last album, 25, releasing all the way back in 2015, the Hello singer has been gone for what seems like an eternity to her loyal fans.

In 2021 however, Adele fans can finally celebrate, with news that her fourth studio album, 30, slated for release sometime this year, with the lead single, Easy on Me, given a release date for October 15, 2021.

The soul-pop queen released a 21-Second black and white Instagram video to give fans a teaser of the song, Easy on Me, on October 6, 2021.

The teaser sees Adele placing a cassette tape into her car, with the tape labelled Easy on Me. The audio snippet lasts for 13-seconds with no Adele vocals. The visuals show sheet music flying out the back window of a car and a trailer attached to the car filled with furniture.

The post on Instagram has reached over 15 million views and 135,000 comments, with the caption simple reading, “Easy on Me – October 15.”

Celebrity friends were not shy to have their fangirl moment in the comments, with 2021 Impeachment: American Crime Story star, Beanie Feldstein commenting, “CHILLS CRYING CHILLS.”

Versace’s artist director, Donatella Versace also chimed in, “Can’t Wait!!!!!”

Luxury brand, Guess, through their official Instagram page even joined in on the excitement, “Ladies and gentleman: her,” followed by a clapping emoji, love heart eyes emoji and a crying emoji.

With no real date set for the release of 30, fans who follow trends may have noticed that her first two albums, 19 and 21, came out in January, while her third album, 25, was released in November, so it is a possibility that this latest album may also be released in November.

For now however, all fans can do is wait for October 15 and enjoy the return of Adele in her latest piano ballad, Easy on Me.
