Spice Girls World Tour Almost Abandoned Due To Fling Bombshell

The Spice Girls world tour plans have been abandoned after news of a fling between Geri Horner and Mel B.

Before Mel B dropped the bombshell, plans were being made to stage a series of lucrative concerts by the Spice Girls.

Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton had been lining up gigs in America, Australia and the Far East for when their whistle stop UK tour ends on June 15.

On Sunday, sources shared that the four-piece nearly cancelled the 13-date tour entirely.

“It has been a hugely dramatic week. At one point last Sunday, the tour wasn’t happening. They agreed that they had to do the British dates because they were under contract and they don’t want to let their fans down, but there won’t be any more,” an insider said.

However, a spokesperson for the Spice Girls said “This story is inaccurate and factually untrue.”

This comes as Mel C and Emma Bunton have reportedly been acting as peacemakers between Mel B and Geri Halliwell following their lesbian bombshell fallout.

They are trying to smooth things over between their bandmates but are ‘prepared for more epic rows’ during their upcoming rehearsals for the tour.

It is claimed that Mel B and Geri can’t be in the same room at the moment after recent reports that Mel has been left perplexed by Geri’s denial about their sexual history.

“At the moment, Geri doesn’t even want to be in the same room as Mel B. There’s no way more worldwide dates will be added.”

Mel is not happy about being ‘made to look like a liar’ after Geri released a statement saying rumours of their relationship are “Simply not true.”
