Turns out the Spice Girls won’t be coming to Australia next year, despite Mel B’s announcement during the group’s final show at London’s Wembley Stadium.
According to reports, Geri Halliwell (a.k.a. Ginger Spice) decided against going on a world tour with the girls as she “doesn’t need the money.”
After marrying former race car driver and current Red Bull Formula 1 Team Manager Christian Horner, it’s any wonder Ginger Spice is financially comfortable, with her hubby being worth approximately $75 million.
Sorry Spice Girls fans! Despite the frenzy and excitement, it doesn’t look like our favourite British pop group will be coming down under anymore.
