That’s right folks, the god-like specimen that is Shemar Moore is coming back to Criminal Minds for the finale of Season 12!
After having left the show to push himself and his career into uncharted territory, Moore will return as Agent Morgan for a single episode to help the team with a lead on Mr. Scratch, a serial killer the group have been chasing for three seasons.
The last time Moore starred on the show, viewers were left in total heartache with the agent almost losing his life. Morgan then left the team following the ordeal to focus on his family.
The loss of Moore’s character was a serious blow to the show and its viewers, especially since it was directly followed by the shock exit of Agent Hotch, played by Thomas Gibson, due to an altercation with the producers.
Though this is not the first time a main character has come back for a guest appearance, as a series favourite, fans of the show are overjoyed.
The episode will air on CBS on Wednesday May 10.
