REVIEW: Avengers: Infinity War

– It has all been leading up to this –

We knew it would happen eventually! There was bound to be a villain that the Avengers couldn’t beat.

Enter Thanos!

As he collects all six infinity stones, he turns into the ultimate super villain. He cannot be beat!

Avengers: Infinity War

As a big superhero fan, I walked into this film so excited and very much invested in the characters. If you haven’t seen the other Avengers movies and the other solo independent Marvel origin stories, I highly recommend that you do before seeing Infinity War. This film becomes EVEN better when you are extremely invested in the characters. If you’re not invested, then its not going to affect you when one of the characters dies (and yes! Sorry to say, some of them die).

If you ARE invested in the characters, grab your tissues!

Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War

Josh Brolin makes a terrific Thanos. His deep voice and incredible acting gave me chills. It was good to see that his character also had a heart. Most villains don’t! It was refreshing because even though he is this high-and-mighty villain that cannot be beat, you start to see a glimmer of hope that maybe he can be.

Avengers: Infinity War

It was great to see that this film, like among other Marvel movies, included some humour. It just wouldn’t have been the same without Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Pratt (Star Lord) and Tom Holland (Spiderman). They really made it funny.

Avengers: Infinity War

If you like Iron Man for all of the cool gadgets, you’ll really enjoy the new and improved Iron Man suit, and even the Spiderman suit. They may look sort of the same but just wait and see. There’s some cool features.

Avengers: Infinity War

There were only some minor negatives, which were overthrown by more positives anyway. I think there were too many characters. They did it well though. You can actually kept up with everyone without being confused because it is all connected in some way or another.

It is a long movie too (two and half hours to be exact) but it needs to be that long to fit everything (and everyone) in. Just get comfortable. Maybe see it in Gold Class like I did. Time goes very quickly.

The only real negative I could find was that the film leaves you with a million questions. There will definitely be a sequel for us to enjoy but we have to wait to get the answers. Do you find that annoying too?

You can have a fun game though with the many possibilities of what comes next. All of the story plot lines that they could follow for the next Avengers. It’s endless!

In conclusion, GO WATCH THIS FILM! You will not be disappointed. But as I said, if you are an Avengers fan, brace yourself (and maybe bring some tissues).
