P!NK has been forced to cancel her first Sydney show this Friday due to illness.
The US popstar is currently touring Australia on her Beautiful Trauma World Tour with shows left in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Around midday today, she took to Twitter informing her fans about her illness and how she won’t be performing on Friday. The 38-year-old hasn’t said what kind of illness she’s suffering from, but she did mention neti pots which is used to help rinse mucus or debris from the nasal cavity.
Event promoters Live Nation, who are behind Pink’s tour, have also released a statement which confirms that the singer has an upper respiratory infection.
“Due to illness, P!NK’s performance scheduled for this Friday night (August 3) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed.
“P!nk is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and has received medical advice that she should not perform in order to facilitate her recovery.
