The first official trailer for the new Netfilx series Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is finally here.
In this series, Violet (played by Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and baby Sunny (Presley Smith) are moved away from their home after their parents are killed in a fire. They meet their new guardian, Count Olaf, who quickly tries to steal their fortune through a lot of schemes: He makes them do a long list of chores, threatens them with a bad hourglass which he bought online, and uses disguises which include beards, wigs, and colourful costumes.
A Series of Unfortunate Events will be released on Netflix on Friday, January 13. It also stars Joan Cusack as Justice Strauss, Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, Alfre Woodard as Aunt Josephine, and Catherine O’Hara as Dr. Orwell.
