Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake returned to the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage for the first time in 14 years yesterday and the reviews are mixed.

The return of the pop singer re-sparked controversy over his last performance in 2004 with Janet Jackson, where he exposed her breast to over 140 million viewers.

Instead, Timberlake performed I Would Die 4 You with a purple piano in front of a giant projection of Prince.

It technically didn’t go against Prince’s wishes, but fans were quick to call out Timberlake’s on social media about their disapproval on the performance.

Timberlake was praised on his high energy during the remainder of the performance, singing hits like Sexyback, Rock Your Body, Mirror and Can’t Stop The Feeling.
