Melbourne based electro-pop singer-songwriter Jade Alice is delighted to announce the release of her new single Away.
Away tells the story of a painful love, the longing for someone that is both a necessity and a hindrance to one’s self. With the incredibly dynamic, and lush production from Melbourne artist Motaki, Jade Alice’s passionate, angelic voice soars through the mix.
“I have seen friends go through these obsessive and toxic relationships, I wanted to write about having this bitter sweet love someone that is so bad for you. The chorus is this moment of trying to release and escape from the heaviness of it,” Jade explains.
Earlier this year, Jade’s song Be Still was shortlisted in the Top 15 to represent Australia for Eurovision. The songwriter has since released a number of singles that combine lush vocal layers, honey toned melodies and huge drum sounds.
