Evidence has been discovered that the iTunes ecosystem is to be broken up into separate apps.
Steve Troughton-Smith, a software developer who has kept an eye on Apple’s entertainment hub tweeted about his findings, “I am now fairly confident based on evidence I don’t wish to make public at this point that Apple is planning new (likely UIKit) Music, Podcasts, perhaps even Books, apps for macOS, to join the new TV app.”
iTunes has been a mainstay in the Mac and IOS ecosystems for years now. It will be interesting how they reorient their consumer-base to the changes associated with this alteration.
What do you think of Apple supposedly splitting iTunes into separate applications? Do you think they should keep it as it is? Let us know in the comment section below.
