Eddie Izzard Announces Dates For His 2019 World Tour

Eddie Izzard has announced that he will be touring Australia with his new International comedy tour WUNDERBAR.

It’s been five years since the 56-year-old comedian has toured. Izzard has made history having played 45 countries including all 50 states in the US and also in four different languages. Izzard is back with an all-new and rather personal show which swells on his own very unique, completely surreal view of life, love, history and his ‘theory of the universe’.

WUNDERBAR has begun at La Nouvelle Seine, which is a floating theatre in Paris. Eddie began to create his new show in French and when he reached Berlin, he did the show in German. It’s said that he will make sure the language fits the country.

“It is getting close to the time when I have to go off for a while to have a political life. But before I do that, I want to keep giving audiences around the world the best stand-up comedy shows that I can – especially at a time of Brexit-hate and Trump-hate. My new show is about everything from humans over the last 100,000 years to talking dogs and animal superheroes. I am looking forward to coming to see everyone again,” said Eddie.

Eddie Izzard happens to be one of the most well respected comedians of all time. He has performed at sold out shows worldwide including the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and the Opera House in Sydney.
