Singer and actor Donald Glover (or Childish Gambino, which he calls his stage act), has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Kobalt Music.
The agreement cover publishing administration, creative support services and global synch for all of Glover’s future projects. This follows the release of his studio album, Awaken, My Love! in December 2016.
Kobalt Music’s Senior Vice President, Al McLean said in a statement, “Donald is one of those rare multi-talented artists who can do it all. It’s an honour to sign Donald and Wolf + Rothstein Collective to the Kobalt family.”
Glover is set to be seen next as a young Lando Calrissian in the up-coming film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and is rumoured to be the voice of Simba in Disney’s live-action remake of The Lion King.
