Dolores O'Riordan

Cranberries lead singer Dolores O’Riodran has unfortunately died at the age of 46.

It was reported that she passed away in London, where she was recording and the cause of death wasn’t immediately available.

“No further details are available at this time,” publicist Lindsey Holmes said in a statement, adding that the singer’s family was “devastated” by the news.

London’s Metropolitan Police Force officers were called to a hotel where a woman was found dead. They said the death was being treated as “unexplained.”

The Cranberries were formed in Limerick, Ireland and became international stars in the 1990s with hits including Zombie and Linger.

The band split up in 2003 but reunited several years later.

The Cranberries released the acoustic album Something Else in 2017 and had been due to tour Europe and North America.

O’Riodran is survived by her ex-husband, the former Duran Duran tour manager Don Burton, and their three children.
