Bulldogs v Warriors Preview

Saturday, 7:30 NZT
Westpac Stadium, Wellington

With the Warriors only reaching two victories from their first six matches of the NRL season, coach Andrew McFadden has made a few changes for his sides round 7 clash against the Bulldogs on Saturday night in Wellington.

The Warriors, having suffered a heavy 34-18 loss against Manly last week, will be desperate to get their season back on track with a win against the in form Canterbury Bulldogs. For the Warriors, Bodene Thompson will be back from injury and will replace Albert Vete on the wing. Joining Bodene Thompson on the other wing is David Fusitu’a. Sam Lisone will start at prop therefore shifting Simon Manering back to lock and Jacob Lillyman will start on the bench.

With the Warriors undergoing some big changes to their lineup for Saturday’s clash, the question on everyone’s mind is, can they overcome the 5th placed Bulldogs? As for the Bulldogs, they will travel to Westpac stadium with an unchanged lineup with coach Des Hasler, including Lloyd Perret to a five man bench for the trip. The Bulldogs will be going into Saturday’s game with confidence after an impressive 18-12 win against the Melbourne Storm last Monday night.

The game can be viewed from Fox Sports live coverage at 5:00pm AEDT.

  1. Care with cliches…”the question is …” forget it being on everyone’s mind. You can’t know that. The phrase is just a filler. Keep it snappy. Keep it sharp. Keep the reader’s attention.
Keep up the the reports. Keep me poste.d
