Dr Chris Brown Not Returning To Bondi Vet

Bondi Vet

The vet is out of the building!

Dr Chris Brown has announced that he will be leaving Bondi Vet. And no, it doesn’t mean that he’ll stop doing what he loves.

“I have always been hugely proud of the Bondi Vet TV show and it will always be a big part of who I am, but for now I will just be a Bondi vet rather than the host of Bondi Vet.”

WTFN Entertainment has already begun their search for a new host and broadcast partner.

Dr Brown’s career in the spotlight took off in 2009 when Channel 10 launched Bondi Vet. He’s pretty much synonymous with the famous TV show.

Unfortunately, the 38-year-old has been struggling with hosting three prime-time shows, as well as working as a vet at the Bondi Junction Vet Hospital.

I’m not gonna lie, this news shocked me out of the blue but it’s great to see him staying true to doing what he loves, choosing to leave Bondi Vet rather than lessening his hours at the vet clinic. It’s no brainer why he’s on the panel for The Living Room and co-hosting I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! with Julia Morris.

Who else was surprised to hear about Dr Chris Brown’s departure from Bondi Vet? Let us know how you’re going to cope after hearing this news. We totally won’t judge if you decide to re-watch all 9 seasons of this amazing show. Chances are, we’ll be doing it as well.

  1. Very disappointed Dr. Chris is Leaving Bondi Vet as host. I loved the show and it was a daily viewing for me and loved Dr. Lisa. Will so miss the miraculous work that the popular surgeon did. (sorry name escapes me). I’m remember the artificial legs that were put on the lamb who was born with 2 legs malformed. The replacement is ok… but not Bondi Vet.
